The Meeting

Dedicated to those who have difficulty making friends
The seeker stumbles through morass of sticky grey where shadows play
Games of collusion with illusion

Waltzing Matilda

A FANFICTION *

James Lord has been Captain, Master and Commander for almost two years.

For most of this time Titanic had been under construction on her Harland and Wolff slip in Belfast. Now, four days into her maiden voyage, she lies crippled, hard down by the bow, with a ten degree list to port. But not for long.

Lover

Ye wayward lady bloggers, today, tremulously, I step forward in defence of the much maligned, oft despised, totally unreliable phantom, my friend, the LOVER. Always broken, often shamed yet so lightly dismissed in a scrum of grandmothers, bookmakers, swamis, husbands, pie makers and children.

Below please find my homage to the LOVER
LOVE HAS LEFT THE STATION

Loneliness

The idea for this poem is about two exiled parts of the psyche making their way back to the centre for miraculous recovery

Loneliness rises
From the freshly cut grass that is soft and damp under your feet
Gnawing footholds
Climbing
Towards a fearful heart.
